This Privacy Policy explains how NeedThat Studio, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Beepo desktop application, website, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
The short version. Beepo runs on your own device. The content you ask it to read stays on your machine except when it is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and process payments. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your email address and basic profile details so you can sign in.
- Payment information. When you subscribe, our payment processor collects your billing details. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive only a customer identifier and subscription status.
- Communications. If you contact us, we keep your messages so we can respond.
Content you process with the Service
To generate a response, the Service captures the on-screen content or page content you ask it to work with and sends it to our third-party AI provider for processing. This content is used only to produce your result. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. Connections you make to third-party platforms (such as session credentials) are stored locally on your device to operate the features you enable; they are not transmitted to us except as needed to provide the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and analytics. We collect product-analytics events (for example, when a feature is used) and basic device and diagnostic data to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics.
2. How we use information
- to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- to create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- to process subscriptions and payments;
- to generate the output you request through our AI provider;
- to respond to your requests and provide support;
- to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the Service, including an authentication provider, a backend and database provider, an AI model provider, a payment processor, and an analytics provider. They may process information only on our behalf and under contractual obligations.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of NeedThat Studio, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Content sent to our AI provider for processing is handled according to that provider’s data practices. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at hi@trybeepo.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You can also disconnect third-party platforms and delete locally stored data from within the app, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
We operate in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
